More vacation pics!

Here are a few pictures of what I missed after I had to leave CA. Janet, Brian, Katherine, and Louis had lots of fun making smores one night. They also went to a Quakes baseball game. Louis' first! Katherine also picked up her brother Alex and they spent some time in Santa Monica. We had a blast. Sorry if we couldn't visit everyone but we'll be down again soon.

Too short visit to CA

Thanks to Janet and Brian, we flew down to CA for a short stay. We were able to attend Grandma Alice's 80th birthday party in Fullerton. We were also able to visit my parents, and Ali and Jackie came to visit with their boyfriends. I had to fly home early but Katherine and Louis stayed another few days. More photos soon.

4th of July at the Fort

Wow, summer is in full swing. It's already August and I still haven't posted our 4th of July photos. Katherine, Louis and I went to the City of Vancouver's 4th of July celebration. We had a good time. There were lots of food vendors. Louis got a huge snow cone and I got cotton candy. We didn't stay for the fireworks. We went home, had dinner, and then had our own show. Just don't ask me what happened to my shirt.

It has finally stopped raining!

That's right, it has finally stopped raining here in Vancouver, WA. We've had a horrible past few weeks with rainy day after rainy day. Now the sun is out and we can enjoy our backyard. We've got some beautiful roses. The apple tree (we think it's an apple tree) has some new fruit and we even have a few blueberries. It's time to stock up on some natural vitamin D!

This whole move hasn't fazed Louis at all. He loves the backyard. He got a new sandbox which is cool. He also had lots of fun playing with a moving box. We used chalk to draw tires and headlights and make it a race car. Louis had a blast. We also visited the local Fire Station for its open house. Louis said he wants to be a fireman.
