Halloween

Halloween time!. Louis was excited to dress up. He went as a construction worker but everyone thought he was Bob the Builder or Handy Manny. We also had fun cutting up the pumpkins. Katherine had to save the seeds to dry them out.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Well, Fall is definitely here now, the nights are dipping into the 40s and all the leaves are changing colors. We decide to go to the pumpkin patch this past weekend and pick out a few. Louis had a blast. We did the corn maze (good thing they gave out maps), the pumpkin launch, the hay tower, Louis went on another pony ride, and the hay ride to get our pumpkins. But by far, Louis loved the corn trap the best. It's like a sand box but made with corn kernels.

Backyard Garden

Louis and Katherine did some fall planting in the back yard. They planted peas, heathers, lavender and pansies.

Under where?

We bought Louis a whole bunch of new underwear the other day. Louis said he wanted to try them on. But as you can see he chose a unique way to "try" them on.

Louis at his new sport class.

Louis had his first "Introduction to Sports" class at the community center this past weekend. The class is 2 to 3 year olds. They played flag football. It was kind of like herding cats. Louis had a blast.

Mt. Hood and Timberline Lodge

We took a trip up to Mt. Hood. It is only about an hour from Portland. Timberline Lodge was built during the Great Depression and showcases some great hand-crafted details. It was also used as the exterior of the hotel in the movie "The Shining". I can't wait for winter to go snowboarding.

More Labor Day Weekend Photos

While Janet and Brian were visiting we decided to visit Multnomah Falls and the other falls along the old Historic Columbia River Hwy. On the way we stopped at Vista House for a great view of the Columbia River Gorge.
