Those of you who are long time blog readers will remember Louis' rope swing in the back yard. Well, this year Alice is finally able to swing on it by herself (after Hector lowered it a bit for her). She was super excited and swings on it everyday now.

Seaside, Oregon
A couple weeks ago we loaded up the van with our family, and Angie, Cody, and Brooke and took a day trip out to the beaches of Seaside, Oregon.
We all had a really good time, we thought it would be cold (which is why we were all wearing pants when we got there), but it warmed up nicely. We already can't wait for our next trip.

Meet the Piggies
There are a couple new family members living in our playroom these days. A few weeks ago we got two new guinea pigs. We got them from the Portland Guinea Pig Rescue group (I didn't know that guinea pig rescue groups were a thing either).
The kids were excited about their new pets (even if Alice doesn't look like it here).
This is Louis' guinea pig, Ralph (named after Wreck-It Ralph the cartoon), né Graham, aka Cookie (it took the kids a while to pick names for them).
This is Alice's guinea pig, Snowball, né Cracker, aka Milky.
Aren't they a couple of cuties? They are both sweet and playful.
