Easter Egg Dying

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.  We had a great time here in Vancouver; my parents flew up from Norco for the weekend, so there was lots of family to celebrate with.

Our first order of business Easter weekend was some egg dying.  This year we did it the old fashioned way, with food coloring.

Let's Go Fly a Kite, Up to the Highest Heights

Last weekend we had a couple blustery (and dry) days, so it was the perfect time to fly our kites.  We went to a park not too far from our house, with a great kite-flying hill. We all had a lot of fun.

Alice, Queen of the Jungle

Alice did a some tree climbing this weekend (with a little help).

Multnomah Falls with Angie and Brooke

Last weekend Hector and Louis took Angie and Brooke on the tour of Multnomah Falls and the Vista House.  It was their first visit out to the Gorge and they loved it.

Louis Loves First Grade

Last Friday Hector and I went to Louis' school for an assembly where Louis got an award. 

His award was for "hard work in math".  He was very proud of himself.

In March we had green eggs and ham at Louis' school to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday.
