More Bulbs, and Some Soccer

We've had a few more bulbs pop up lately that I thought I'd share; the hyacinths, and some of our tulips (just the white ones).
The forsythia has also started blooming like crazy, so we know spring is definitely here.
During a break in the weather Louis tried to teach Alice to be a goalie.

She was a little unclear on the concept.

Farmers Market Opening Weekend

This weekend was the opening weekend of the Vancouver Farmers Market.  Visiting the farmers market is one of our favorite things to do.  We were lucky and it was sunny, if a little chilly.
 The kids loved the playground.

Alice got a balloon doggie and Louis got a sword.

No trip to the market would be complete without flowers.

More Weekend Fun

Here's a few more pictures of the kids from this weekend.

Alice had a lot of fun playing with the sandbox. Filling up her bucket, dumping her bucket out, filling up her bucket, and so on.

Louis decided to mow the lawn all by himself, and he actually did a pretty decent job.

Spring is Springing!

Spring is, well, springing up all over the place here.

We have crocuses,
daffodils,
and a robin.
We even had our first picnic of the year.

Broccoli

Our fall broccoli finally matured last weekend.  We took advantage of a sun break to harvest it.
 Yep, that's it.
Louis was not impressed.

Aren't they cute in their matching hoodies?

Louis' New Room

We recently switched rooms with Louis, so he's now sharing the attic with his sister. Here's a couple shots of his new digs.

Louis likes his new room.

He also likes Captain Underpants.
And he would like me to remind everyone to be very careful when time traveling, or else you may find yourself returning to a world without bananas.
