I'm dreaming of a white...Thanksgiving?

Snow! Yes, that's right. It snowed in Vancouver. It was our first taste of snow here. We missed the only snow storm last winter when we were visiting CA last Christmas. It really started coming down around 9:00pm. Louis got to get out of bed and run around for a bit. As you can see it really wasn't that much snow but for us it was fun.

Happy Halloween!

We hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. We carved our pumpkin before going out. Louis didn't really like scooping out all the seeds but he loved his knight costume. Katherine made the knight tunic and Louis already had the sword, shield, and helmet. He got lots of candy and really enjoyed handing our candy after we got back. We had about 70 kids stop by. Our friends who live 3 blocks over got more then 300 kids. I guess that's what happens when you have sidewalks.

Creative Napping.

These are from a while ago. Sometimes Louis just does something, and you have to picture. This is a giraffe neck pop up tent that he has had for while. He decided it would be fun to take a nap in it.

No stopping him now...

Last year when we moved to Vancouver our neighbors next door gave Louis a bike that their grand kids outgrew. Louis is now big enough to ride it, with a little help from some training wheels. We're trying to get as much outdoor time as we can since the rain is starting up again. Louis just took off and there's no stopping him now.

Uncle Alex at the Falls

While Katherine's brother Alex was visiting us, we took a trip to the Vista House and Multnomah Falls. Everyone who visits us gets to go on this road trip to see the Columbia River Gorge and see the awesome waterfall. It was once again a great little trip and we all had fun spending time together.

4 Years Old!

Louis turned four years old. His birthday was on Labor day. Katherine's brother Alex was visiting us before he leaves for Germany (have fun Alex!). We had a small birthday party for Louis at home. He and I made our very first cake. It kind of fell apart on us but Louis loved it and it was delicious. Louis got lots of presents and he couldn't decide which one was his favorite. If you're wondering about the glasses, all the Toy Story party stuff was in 3-D. What will they think of next?

Summer Fun!

Well the weather here in Vancouver already feels like Fall. But here a few pictures of the fun Louis had this summer. As you can see he really likes his small swimming pool.
