Multnomah Falls cont...

Today we drove out to Multnomah Falls. It is only 30 minutes from Portland. We hiked half way up the mountain, and plan on going back to make it to the top. As you can see the pictures speak for themselves. Just plain awesome!

Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver has a really cool water feature. Louis just loves to play there.

4th of July cont...

Happy 4th of July!

Katherine, Louis, and I hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July. We plan on riding our bikes down to Esther Short Park for the Farmers Market and City of Vancouver's 4th events. There is going to be music and other acts. Unfortunately the huge firework display that Vancouver usually puts on was canceled this year. It's the first time since 1962 that they won't have it. But it is legal to buy fireworks in WA and we're planning to have our own show. More pictures soon.
