Lightning Louie!

Our good friend Heather Goodale made Louis a super cool cape. It has Louis' favorite cartoon character Lightning McQueen. Louis just loves it. He wore his Lightning McQueen shirt and turned into Lightning Louie! Heather, Tim, Ayden, and Madison moved to Denver and we miss visiting with them. I learn to blog from Heather's site, which I have a link to. Thank You Goodale Family.

Louis at school.

Here are a few new pictures of Louis at his new daycare. He really misses all his friends in San Diego. His teacher says that he is a good helper but sometimes can be bossy. I wonder where he gets that from?

We went to OZ, Oregon Zoo that is.

We went to the Oregon Zoo this weekend. We were spoiled by the San Diego Zoo, but the Oregon Zoo was very nice. It had a very cool section on the Pacific Northwest. We bought memberships to the zoo, so I'm sure we'll have more posts.

Lawn Care.

Here is the photo Louis took. As you can see the weeds were more interesting then me.

I don't remember the last time I had to mow the lawn. At least our yard isn't that big.

Fun in Esther Short Park.

We went to the Farmers Market at Esther Short Park this past weekend. The Market was nice but Louis loved the huge play area right next to it.








He wasn't even afraid of the clown.

We decided to take a little break from all the unpacking and have some fun. It's been pretty hot up here. It was around 90 degrees when we went outside to play this evening.

Vancouver or Bust

The big move is finally here. I drove the rental truck with Katherine and Louis in the car behind. We moved 1000 miles in two days and it actually wasn't that bad.
