Another day while Katie's parents were visiting we went to visit the Lady Washington which was docked in Vancouver for a few days. It is Washington State's official ship. It was in the Pirate of the Caribbean movie. It looked pretty big until you stepped on board. So much rope.

Christmas Lights and Tree
While Katherine's parents were visiting during Thanksgiving weekend we put up our Christmas lights and went to a tree farm to find the perfect tree. The lights went up pretty fast except for the time everyone was inside and I was trapped on the roof. I had to get the next door neighbor to call someone for me.
The tree farm was really cool, they had a great operation and tons of trees. We found the perfect tree, cut it down, and set it up. Louis wanted one of the puppies that were running around but it isn't time for a dog yet. As you can see, Louis was very tired after all the excitement. Katherine set up the tree and it looks great. Merry Christmas.

Cylon Toast
Many of you may know that I think the best television show ever was the SciFi channel's Battlestar Galactica. The evil robots on that show are called Cylons but the humans call them toasters. Katherine's parents gave my an offical Battlestar Galactica toaster as a gift and we fired it up. Louis loved it. Yum, cylon toast.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope everyone had a great holiday. Katherine's parents came up to visit over the holiday weekend and Katherine got to make her first ever Thanksgiving dinner. As you can see it was a great success! The turkey was delicious, and so were all the trimmings. Louis was a great helper but all his hard work really tired him out.

My Parents' visit and Louis' Baptism
My parents, Angela and Alex, were in town for Louis' baptism. We have joined a great Episcopalian church here in Vancouver, Saint Luke's. Now my parents are not only Louis' grandparents but his godparents as well. Louis was really good during the rehearsal, but once the service started he got very shy, and hid his face. Father John was patient with him and it all worked out well. In the end he waved to the congregation, and even gave a few high fives.
